One of the last great TO music halls left now that the El Mocambo is gone. Never went to Massey for any shows, but was in the El a few times taking pics when I lived there.
The lens you have now is fine for club work if you can get close enough (8 feet or so) from a stage.
Most of my concert stuff was taken using the simple 45mm that came with the camera when I bought it, aperture full open @ 1/60sec, 400ASA color slide film. Never used flash, relied on stage lights and let the film do its work for me.
